Chris,

I suspect that thinking about starting the job will be worse than actually doing it. Don't forget, prepare in advance. Put the heater on in the shed before you start work, make a big mug of tea, turn the radio on and get stuck-in.

It will be done before you know it, unless you find something else wrong while stripping it. (Doh! What did I say that for?)

Got the top end off and the flywheel-no probs- I'll sort out the mag housing next week........... :shock:

Going to take it nice and steady- no rush.
