In all seriousness, if anyone asks me now.....I would say alarm your shed and garage with a decent alarm system and have specially made garage locks/shed locks (unpickable) on each corner of the garage door.
It cost me over £1000 to do this recently but I would have given anything to avoid the feeling of opening my garage door and finding my lammy and mates lammy gone and battery chargers ripped off the wall etc.
As Lambretta and Vespa prices continue to rise, it only takes one unscrupulous c**t to hear about one or two in a garage down the road. They are easy pickings with weak steering locks, no alarm or immobiliser, simple electrics to rewire and start once its been lifted away.
I'm not bitter, honest

Seriously, I would be interested to hear about good security solutions for scooters with or without batteries... (trackers, alarms) for when they are parked up.

I have a garage alarm system which texts me and also rings a security company if activated. A 4-camera CCTV system which I can view/monitor via my mobile phone, and I also get a text if it's motion sensors pickup movement between certain hours. I have metal doors, bars on the windows, an anti-ram raid bar inside, mul-T-lock security locks, motion triggered security lights, and all scooters shackled together with the thickest security cable I could find......plus I have a pal who is an armed response police officer and my garage is on his 'route' near the location he monitors, so he keeps an eye on my place too........but despite all that, I am still paranoid about theft. I reckon I'd still be edgy even if I had a machine gun tower and guard dogs patrolling the parameter!
