Been out for first rideout today after fitting reed valve. Scoot is running great and egt and cht is in a good place. I was told that I would have to up jet after adding the valve, as my scoot was already running rich I think it is ok in terms of main jet. But, when I was on the rideout and started her up to leave she stalled twice and was difficult to restart. Once it started I had to run with choke on for a minute or so to keep her going. Once I got going she was running pefect.

So, given that I have added the reedvalve what recommendations has anyone got in terms of my jetting? Needle clip position etc.... Carb is a delly 30mm PHBH.

Any thoughts muc appreciated as always :-)

Yes mate, boost port and piston has had windows and skirt cut. Runs great but not great starting.

for about ยฃ80 I would get it on the dyno cheaper than a holed piston or seize

I think I'm set up safe through the Rev range. According to my EGT and CHT I am ok. My temp never went over 530 whilst sitting at 65, my only issue is when starting.
