PX125 Case Repair?

drill a small hole in the end of the crack , to stop it going any further, and take it to a local engineering firm to get ally welded up. cost wise? depends who you take it to really. looks like an M8 stud been forced into a stripped M7 hole causing the crack.
just been quoted £70 to sort it out,not sure on this as i could get new LML cases for £100

Are they the Indian LML casings, if so you will pay import tax and they may not be of great quality. I have seen someone quoted £150 the other day for a set by a guy who apparently sells at a lot of the parts fairs and rallies. Trades as Dave's Scooter Shack.
Presumably all the LML casings are made in India... is there some way of telling which are the good ones and which are not?
