In line with the other posts maybe you should fit a "Barometer" as well.....alanscottj wrote:I'm actually thinking it might just be a power issue, not jetting, been out again and it just feels like its losing power at full throttle. I have a feeling I might have too many toys on it for the power it produces. For example, I have just fitted a SIP electronic speedo, the bike already had a EGT gauge that is back lit, I have had one of those 'mod' chargers on it for ages (but not actually charging anything, but still connected). So, maybe, just maybe I am using too much power. I have also just read on here that I need to change the spark plug to one that suits the SIP speedo, a resistor type plug. All of this combined may well be why I'm losing power top end???
I agree the power and ignition side are completely separate and the gadgets should not affect the ignition.
Stuck rings may also be a cause for the lack of power.

Have a look at the air/fuel graph on your dyno printout. It may be that Readspeed left the jetting at the top end a tad rich. Then, when you get the really damp air that we have had in the last few days, it is making it too rich.
