it is amazing how much the old chain has stretched it is not an iwis, its on ts1 setup and its done about 4.5k and it does get thrashed when conditions allowRich_T wrote:IWIS transmission chain is as good as you get.
I would imagine that the profile and PCD on your primary drive combination is likely to be out or is certainly subject to less manufacturing scrutiny than a high quality automotive roller chain manufacturer. If your old chain fitted with the same combination it is more likely that the old chain masked the difference.
Remember that not only the roller chain link pins wear but also the roller on the pin wears too.
