I don't see a preview - I see the big picture?
Did you have to do that?

I fitted one locks the back wheel up first time this has happened since owning the scooter, have you checked to see if the allen bolt that holds the cam tight has come loose and moved causeing your shoes not to expand

Having set up the cam & set the brake shoes correctly they will work ok. The shoes are 150mm x 25mm wide & the Lambretta drum unit 152mm dia so will take a while to bed in fully.
There are also various makes of brake shoes available besides the Lucas brand that are supplied by "Jockey Boxenstop"
Some more expensive - EBC Y510, NewFren GF1167, Vesrah VB228 if you wish to try other brake shoe compounds!

That's interesting to know that other shoes might be available for this kit. I was kind of wondering where I'd get replacements from if needed.

I realise sometime has passed since this thread was started, but are there any conclusions as to whether these shoes work correctly or not ?
