Sorry - No no no I wasn't criticizing you or your installation at all

I was just trying to point out how difficult it is to produce something to fit someone else's product when their product changes so often. Hence the reason for MB no longer recommending them.

The AF flywheels had been working with relative success for us. I don't always know what flywheel people are mating them with, but I know of dozens of BGM/AF pairings here and all have been fine with one exception. That one we haven't solved but I think it's a misaligned magnet on the AF flywheel because NO stator will work with it.

You are right about the instructions though - I'll post up the first few paragraphs on our site.

A bgm stator with matching flywheel would be nice. You know.... a flywheel with correctly aligned secure magnets, correct taper, correct clearance, correct weight etc - built to BGM's impressive build quality to date ........just a thought ;) ;) ;)

Ian, are you suggesting BGM to make a flywheel? If you are not, I am, I found incredibly stupid to make a statorplate and not make a flywheel. Is like someone who likes to run, is given a pair of tennis shoes and has no legs... Just my opinion.

Dont worry Mark I didn't take offence!
I started the topic to get feedback and thats whats happened and its good to get other peoples views or info on what has happened to them with products. Maybe a BGM flywheel would be a good idea im sure if they made one to mate with the stators we would all be interested.
There are a few new electronic kits coming out that look good but arent the price of BGM stuff so they would have a market for those of us that can't afford 300 quid and more for an electronic kit at the momment.

My problem isn't with the stator its more with Af flywheels not working with them and my frustration at spending more money when money is tight. And then spendiing time to try and sort the fault when I should be riding the thing.
Ha!! Sean you will have me going on again but about cylinder heads this time.
Anyway cheers for the input lads..I will get out to the scoot over the next couple of days and see what I can sort with it.
