Changed petrol, plug (again) and another 20mm carb( again). Got it running after about 15 kicks and it's still the same, will not rev properly. I checked the points yesterday and they were spot on, it's got to be the damn condenser. Looking to change the stator tomorrow or even just the condenser. It's so hard to know if a problem is fuel or electrical related.

Took the stator to Rayspeed yesterday and they replaced the points and condenser. I also put on a new earth braid and HT lead. Anyway, got it all back together and she's back to normal, running great!!! It's seems so difficult working out the symptoms between whether it was carb or an ignition problem, it felt so much like a carb problem but it wasn't.
