Reed valve petals are good. Top end taken off and nothing out of the ordinary.

Now I'm genuinely lost!

If you've changed/ checked everything, the only things left are the crank and seals

I've a horrible feeling it's electrical but where and why I'll never know.

If I find nothing out of the ordinary with the crank and seals, I'm going to strip the whole frame down and start again with another new wiring loom and set up.

Bilko, I'm running a similar thread and you also just commented on that. I'm running points, they are okay and I've also just changed the coil, still no luck. I'm thinking about the condenser but the spark looks okay and when there's no spark at all in the past it's been the condenser. I'm going to have another play with the carbs but that's already been done. I'm thinking of changing the petrol, the scoots not run for 3 months but I've never had fuel problems in the past.

Same here with petrol. I've never changed it before now, but it was one of all the options tried.
