Restricted air flow or to much fuel. Choke sticking might be an option ?

not in any order but have a look at......

Spark plug gap/ correct plug ?
Float needle worn ?
Blocked or worn pilot jet ?
Blocked air filter
choke cable seated correct ?

I have a stock DL 200 thats a bitch to start after a run .
So now I switch off the fuel just before I stop and run
the carb bowl half empty ........Then when I restart it
I leave the fuel tap and choke off and it starts first kick.
Stock old SH/22 dellorto that one of these days I'm gonna
swap out for a NOS one I have sitting in the garage...

Good luck bud 8-) G 8-) .

I,m having the same problem (only now and again tho) 175 top end, new everything, all run in etc from cold starts first kick with choke, switch off at garage for fuel starts again first kick, problem is if i leave it 10 or 15 mins it can be a bitch, been told it could be my pilot jet, got in a 50 ! would a 45 or 48 be better.

plugs a nice colour and no air leaks
