I have tried various filter set ups including massive oval ram airs straight onto the carb and on the end of carb bellows without much success - alright but with compromises in top end or driveability. Probably a sign of getting old but I'd swap quite a lot of top end for an engine that'll tick over and drive from low down and pull through the rev range - maybe some sort of still air box will help.

CamLam are out of stock but you may find one of the German shops has them.

I've made it fit the standard elbow too. It's too neat to call it a bodge. 8-)

You can also buy a short, thin aluminium screw on bellmouth that is perfect for fitting the breathsweet elbows to, got mine on ebay 8-)

Is your breath sweet squashed a little? Mime is and according to the dyno man is restricting the bhp by 3. Any tips? I will try a shorter manifold when I get back from a ride to a France on Monday. I have a 11.5 litre tank so space is restricted.
