Fitted a new 5 plate clutch (Cambridge Lambretta supplied) to a brand new Indian GP200 engine. It is quite a heavy pull on the lever....grrrr. Split casings & checked brass actuator still doing its actuating things, all springs in place. Is it heavy because its new??? Is the final steel plate too thick for the GP200 engines??? If anybody has any thoughts/past experience please share. I'm off to power lift things with my left arm before I go a run

For over a year i ran with a heavy clutch, burnt it out twice before i realised it was the cable !! Some of the strands on the inner cable had frayed, felt perfectly fine when disconnected but once the clutch was connected you needed arms like Popeye to work it. Fitted a new cable and it's one of the lightest clutches i've used.....
