Agree. It's all relative. Spend accordingly.10 inch Terror wrote:It all depends on your engine spec. There's no need to spend more than £100 on anything under 20BHP in my opinion. You can get a Readspeed 5 plate kit for £50 and you can still use all your other standard clutch parts. I'd swap over the supplied springs for MB ones (personal preference) and you'll have a lovely light clutch for very little money. Add the cost of a new clutch cable, oil and chain case gasket and you'll have change from £100. Why over egg the pudding when there's no need to?

There is if you want a two seater with a shed load of luggage space that's quite fast, reliable and handles like a go-kart.corrado wrote:There's no need for Porsches but they're out there.
Did you have to do that?

So, if you needed a little runaround to take the wife shopping once a week, you'd buy an Aston or Porsche? My point is, buy what suits your needs, not your desires. Yes an LTH clutch is a lovely thing, but in a bog standard LI150, it would be a total overkill, but in a 30HP motor, it would be perfect.corrado wrote:There's no need for Porsches or Aston Martins but they're out there.

Depends on how much disposable you have - that's exactly what a good many expensive motors are bought for.10 inch Terror wrote:So, if you needed a little runaround to take the wife shopping once a week, you'd buy an Aston or Porsche?
