Nobody bats an eyelid when people say theyre std ts1 kit with an expansion pipe and 34mm dellorto does 85 all day long!

Im glad these people are getting up to these amazing speeds as it shows that most lambretta riders have been living in a dream world for years claiming ridiculous speeds of theyre kitted scooters.
This was done on my TT RB22 the one I offered to race you on but you and your 90mph sx had a no-show at Lincoln. Just kidding Jon I know your claims of hitting 90 were a p155 take. :D

The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it.....

I was at Lincoln frank I remember the offer of the race as well but the distance was that short that by the time I Wud have put my gloves on it Wud be over!! I can't remember u taking up my offer of a race to woolacombe tho? Or was u working 2 till forever again lol. Anyway I'm not going to get involved with your monza bashing of this thread, the super monza is the fastest engine on the track and that's that. Just accept it, doesn't matter what carb gearing etc it just is. Be happy with wat u have got.

Speed Demon wrote:No, I do not have my information wrong at all.

Charley developed all those things with an inertia dyno and he used the foot brake on his dyno to add load to get more heat into the components.

I think it just proves my point about a clever spade operator (Charley) producing better results than an idiot driving an JCB.

Sticky
Ouch!!! My vote for come-back line of 2013. :D :) :x :P
What sticky was saying is that Charley knows what he is doing.
And yes he used a brake which loads the engine at any given rpm. SO the inertia dyno was not used as an inertia dyno at all..
No ten second sweep tests and saying "hey look at that".. no, thats just pub talk.
Loading a motor at any given rpm is what a step dyno does. An Mjp dyno does not have a brake at all so how do you load midrange? How do you show real peak figures? My bike would NOT make real peak figures on the inertia dyno, even with the powerjet off-thats like -25% off the main jet! .. Do you not get this? Can you not see what is happening?
If you dont understand this Frank , well......

I think its best cleared up on the track... as has been this year...
Straightliners will offer dates for next year...

Agreed! However most people wont believe straightliners official results anyway which is a shame.

Hope the storm damage wasn't too bad.
fence panels/tiles off workshop roof then went out in van and mice had nested under bonnet and eaten the diesel lines so broke down ,came in and phone lines down took 4 engineers to sort it ,outside light blown off , but all sorted now ta.
on the plus side fence panel missed van by an inch and roof tile blew off as i walked out the door to take a look ,just missed me head and i couldnt believe it as i caught it and saved it !!!!!
Sounds like you have been busy! Glad you are all sorted now.

How quick some people forget I had a Super Doope Monza cheers Jon, having been one of the only people to own & ride both machines you would think I would be allowed my ten minutes :). This was done on my TT RB22 the one I offered to race you on but you and your 90mph sx had a no-show at Lincoln. Just kidding Jon I know your claims of hitting 90 were a p155 take. :D
Was it a tuned Monza or was it a proper super monza that was set up properly as they are completely different. You can prove this by telling us which number kit it was as they are all marked.

I have never bashed the monza or Charlie's skill at building an engine - I just wanted to know if i could buy one off the shelf as tony claimed. The answer after 700 questions was NO. but Yes if CE built it with his off the shelf parts that you can't buy off any other shelf and set up by CE oh I give up!!! and at the end of the day I think we all agree this was a CE engine that was very well engineered. Did it crack the Ton - the simple answer is yes. The only bashing I have read is the Top Speed???? Power to weight Ratio - Gear Ratio combined with Bhp / Torque is in question.
And WHY are people so quick to disbelieve my speed that was printed, but all fall out over a hand written time posted? :D
