Anyone running a SSC taffy copy pipe?
The Photoshopping, the Mechano bracket FFS: take a closer look at Corrado's pic nr.1 (See the blur and dribble above the silencer, the reverse powdercoated 'xternal' chaincase gasket surface, the shite of the K/S lever and rubber missed, the licenceplate the seats and carrier, the over coloured panel flashes and then the remedy on the front ones only. What a POS! Hope the exhaust is better than the 'marketing'?
I've got a original Taffspeed bracket for rear can coming . Just will req chroming

Sorry for the retarded reply Dan. Maybe I was harsh in disecting the photos Martin posted.
On my computer screen at least the top pic looks like there is 'Photoshop' dribble paint effect surrounding the tail can on the panel. On this picture the outlet cap is plainly silver -= on the lower picture it is 1/2 black and the last 1/2 segment of outlet pipe is silver. On pic 2 on my screen the end-can cylindrical surface looks badly rippled. The panel flashes look sprayed over except for little segments of the front ones.
This lead my poor rheumy eyes to detect 'photoshopping' and beg the question why so 'obviously' photoshop a promotional picture if the product is pukka? and comment to that effect.
It may well be a combination of me riding with my visor up for too long for my upper balls, and/or an old computer screen.
I thought was that the 'photoshopping' did more to trigger doubt than to show a nice product.
I must say, if these exhausts are as well made as the SSC ones I have seen then they should be solid. Shame about the 'Meccano' bracket though on this one. The performance reports on here for them ar very good IMHO. Would be interested in one if I did not have LEFS (Lambretta Exhaust Fettish Syndrome) and more in the shed than I will ever use-up before I am.
Sorry for tarnishing the forum with my blurts if I am out of place..... yet again.
Andy

Could someone give me info on how this pipe compares to a mb devtour(10 year old SS version). I have had the devtour on my stage2-3 ts1 and thought it was designed for torque, but when I tried it on my gt186 it needs a lot of rev to get into power band. I am looking for something with bottom torque and would be glad to be pointed to a dyno comparison or experience from anyone.
Thanks
