400x10s

can i fit 400x10s on a vespa t5 front and back (tuned engine) will it pull or bog down have i the clearance

on the back it will prob foul the engine arm if not the clutch cover ,and even if it looks like it clears by a couple of mill when trying to fit it up bear in mind tyre growth due to centrifugal forces lol. I could be wrong but i think it would poss up gear by approx 10% overall ,.also it may no longer clear your exhaust .
on the front is also not good ,as it will make the steering feel heavier and also may catch on the fork leg ,not to mention that it will throw out your speedo readings
,but by all means try it if you like and let us know how it pans out for you :)

how about just on the back would that still throw the speedo out

Think you can do the rear (oh err !!) using Cosa rims.....

dont confuse the use of a wider tyre with one of greater diameter

i done it with cosa rims for the back just used good washers as spacers :roll:
