series 2 rear light

doing up a series 2 lammy for a friend. has 3 festoon bulbs in the back light.
which ones are the brake etc

Wouldn't it be better to fit the larger, later unit so that you can use a standard reflector and bulb? Unless your friend is set on originality.

3 lamps
2 functions, 1 is brighter than the other...................... ;)

The two sides are the brake lights,the centre is the driving light and plate illumination

Those things are worst than most cycle lights. If he wants to keep the original looks but get safer lighting he could fit a BGM LED board instead of the crappy 3 festoon setup.

yep have to agree there, trying to get the right length festoons and poor light output, BGM do 6 & 12V version(s) for around £25 its the best bang for buck/ smallest amount of money you could ever spend on a Scooter just fit and forget, not to mention safety issues.
