i need to be more certain of the rev counter connections on the varitronic system,wheres sybil when you need her input!

The brown wire, which picks up the ignition pulses, is just connected to a 12V AC supply. The only thing you might have to adjust is the pulse number as I believe the Varitronic sparks twice as often as the usual 12V SIL type electronic ignition conversion.
