stand spring holder bracket ....lug thing.. on frame

Anything related to paint & bodywork issues on scooters....

hi folks , any idea where i could get one of these ?( the lug the stand spring hooks over )
or what would be the best thing to weld on instead....?

Hav you tried scooter restorations they do all frame bits to weld back on hope this helps

yes , that was the first place i looked ...but they don't seem to have it..

will weld on a 8mm bolt with a nut run up and welded, to sandwich the spring hook .. but wondered if this may get worn quickly and break :|

Cut one of and old stand and use that ?????

an m8 cap head is just right, drill and tap the frame m8 ( or weld a nut in) wind cap head in until it traps the spring just right, tack weld from back to keep position, you could use stud lock loctite
high tensile steel capheads are nice and hard so shouldnt wear.
