sorry to hijack the thread but,, Twin I've looked at some of your auto conversions top quality work sir, have you any exp with 4t autos. I've got an on/of going project with a skipper st motor but having an awful time with the wiring , I've got all new electrical components ( stator, regulator ,coil etc & an unimobilised malossi cdi unit) & a striped down st harness but still can't get it to spark any advice etc most appreciated :fb:

Have a look at burglar alarm batteries. They're quite small.
Meus Lambretta est non infractus. Is est quietus.

Ah, if it's a 7 wire type stator, then a capacitor, possibly, isn't going to be enough to allow the reg/rec to function correctly.
