Just wondering what people out there are reading for engine temp on their SIP speedo, especially if the sensor is mounted under the cowling bolt as mine is rather than under the spark plug?

Luckily we are KPH/Centigrade here in Aus so I don't have that problem.
And your right about it just being a point of comparison rather than an absolute, but I thought it would be interesting.
At the moment running in I don't expect to get too hot, but when thats finished and I can give it some stick it will be interesting to see how much hotter it gets :baddevil: .

Got my sensor fitted under the spark ( not a sip speedo tho) and see between 170 c - 240 c depending on road speeds and ambient temps.
