Any one tried to fit one of these yet ?

I get 1.3mm clearance without shims supplied fitted!!!!! on an italian 200 casing

WTF happening here, i thought and tried the old crank and it was fine with 0.55mm clearance.

Best measure the shoulder where the seal sits, the BGM item measured 9.32/9.29/9.30mm

That then lead me to check other cranks Inocennti, MEC, Mazzucchelli, Omega and Indian which varied between 8.29mm and 8.48mm

So, i'm curious if anyone else has fitted one in an indian casing and what clearance you got ?

are you saying the mag side crank web sits further in the casing - thus further away from the mag flange?

I was measuring between crank web and drive side plate once the front sprocket had been tightened up. Usually find this 0.4 to 0.6mm.

It turns out the cranks are machined wrong with too much width on the shoulder where the oil seal sits.

Sent it back and waiting for replacement which seems a bit long in the tooth coming, several emails with promises but over a week waiting now!!

Hi There.
Thinking about getting ones of these cranks. Did you eventually get yours back? Would you recomend it if so?
Cheers, Dave.

Crank has been in for a while and no further issues to date.

Its taken a good hammering up the sprint track, Lcgb 65th and Mersea and is very smooth

So yeah after the initial issues its turned out to be a good buy

Is there anyway you can identify the bad batch apart from the oil seal shoulder issue?
