i use a lth manifold with a 35mm mikuni under gp panels with a cam lam sweetbreathe filter, this setup does not touch the panels and solves the fuel spitback issue, ran this for over 2k miles without problems
Great idea with the mod on the panel there!
The breathe sweet is good, i run it on a monza with a PHBH and it just touches the panel slightly.
The real problem is when you want to use the filter with a mid range fuel tank and toolbox or a long range tank. The filter then has no room.
This is why i'm removing the standard toolbox and going for a legshield toolbox on mine.
This will then give the filter plenty of room.
