I don't know why he wants a standard exhaust, he just does, it's not something I would choose personally really , but he has asked me to do it for him so that's what he'll get
Could it be then that you can not run a Ts1 on an SX with a filter at all, ever :(

I ran my ts1 for 10 years using an mb filter that sticks to the inside of the side panel with the usual issues of petrol running down the side of the bike .

Just recently i've spent some money on my engine and have been looking around at filters , I was told that lth filter would go under my panels no trouble at all ,but we're talking scooters here and I seldom believe what I'm told these days , so l put a bump in my panel for suitable clearance.

Just remember that a barrel will wear out quicker with no filter.

In progress as we speak Dean?
Another idea might be a pair of wider Series 5 panels

Thought of series 5 wide panels but it would look like one of those auto lammies :frog: , I painted the panel Friday but haven't done pics yet .

Not sure I like it though

Yes it's a jig I've built for standard frames and auto conversations.

Ok,this is what I ended up with after modifying the side panel so I can now run an LTH air filter under the panel.

Nice, I like that and the jet door.
