can anyone throw some light on a problem i have with my vespa PX 125 MODEL YEAR 2000 please ? i am running on mitchelin Dexter tyres 350.10 and for some reason the edge of the tyre is rubbing against the rear shock and it has damaged the tyre wall i have taken the shock off and ground some of the spring down but its still happening, its not rubbing against the clutch case either so i am lost ??? and now have to buy two new tyres not happy. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP

Sounds like you will need a new shock now anorl :shock:
You have tried to mask a fault already there by creating another one .
Your frame could be twisted or the mounting bush for the shock worn.
Some one with more knowledge than ne needs to advise you but i certainly wouldnt have just ground the spring ;)

dexters were my favorite tyre of all time...but havnt been made for what? ten years? and you running one on the back, maybee its perished, or blebbed out on one side? something a-miss if its missing the clutch cover, but hitting the shocker. can you not swap the back wheel for a known good one off a mate to compare?

I will take a look on ebay and try and find a tyre that is not as wide as the Dexter thanks for the advise cheers
