I have one of the early 186 mugello's running on a Tv 2 175 casing it has been ultra reliable torquey and pulls like a train. It has done nationals and C2C's with no issues, great piece of kit IMHO. :D hope you get what you are looking for .

Wellerchap on the Feckers site ran a 186 Mugello, early one for over 60,000 miles before it finally bit the dust. Regularly featured in the mags for Lands End to Jonny Groats, 92 football league grounds to name a couple. Bolted on out of the box, Li 150 box, 22mm Jetex and 42mm Clubman, sat all day at 60mph, close to 70 down wind, down hill.
I don't think there's a bad kit out there, just ones that don't suit your requirements, some that plod and some that race. Casa 186 to RB20. Don't buy a Casa kit and stick a JL4 on it and don't buy an RB 20 and stick a 22mm Jetex on it.

Would be interesting to see some real dyno graphs ...
This thread is becoming real stupid, I will answer my own question above, MB told me that the bgm kit will probably be available before Christmas, at least a few of them. Still it will be interesting to see dynos when kits are here. I am pretty sure this will be a great kit. I am looking for something with lots of torque and for now it is between RT and modified RB for torque.

I don't know much about the dellorto PHBH 30 but there is one on mb site without manifold for aprox £80,.

Hej Slangen,

I've pretty much decided to go for the BGM RT, and when I spoke with MB a month ago they were anticipating it to arrive end of September, but as with all product launches it seems to have been delayed.

I'm sure the GT kit is absolutely fine, but the RT seems to have a little more oomph at the same time being completely untried which adds excitement - will it work or blow up the engine?

As soon as I've got one running I'll report back on the performance, and if anyone knows a dyno close to London I'll have it dynoed too :)

My rt240 has just clocked 5000 km. No problems so far, also under really hot temperatures (40 degrees this summer in south Italy).
Pulls like a train with my Mito reverse pipe and VHSH 30mm (sx200 17x46 , final ratio 4,25). At cruising speed it is also really cheap on fuel (24km/l) and i've clocked a top speed of 136km/h.

These are some dyno sheets, the lowest figures is with a gori 50mm pipe, the other with a Mito reverse pipe.

Is this enough?
