Evening chaps, just wonder if the cable should go in front of the steering column or behind it? :?: I realise that it could be placed either way, however my concern is the clearance off the weel. I also realise that the cable needs to be hold by the coat hanger thingy that I need to fabricate...

Kind regards,

Jaime

I fitted a cable holder professionaly made, laser cut, but found it to keep the cable in a slightly wrong angle.

So instead i fitted the cable to the fork at the center of the wheel using a very loose zip tie. If I remember I can take a photo of it...

if i recally correct jason frost does a nice lazer cut cable guide/support i think though you will need dampers to attach to top stud (im assuming this is for your jet btw so on probs there ) cable i would expect to be in the same place more or less certainly at the head set end

That's the one I got, looks the piece but didn't work well (for me). Probably others have had better results...?

I am still confused about the routing.. So should I place it in front of the steering column or behind it?

Thank you, I am doing a dry build of the entire system, I need to know the precise length of the cable and it is imperative that I route it correctly before doing any cutting...
