throttle and mot

hello all,new to forum so bit of trial and error, not sure if i asked this question in correct section. so ill try here, would my throttle have to return back in order to pass an mot. at present no spring in place to make this happen, would i have to fettle one, any advice please

thanks for reply, read other forums and seems motorbikes require it, as for previous mot probably sat in somones house in mumbai. this will be its first here, anyway thanks for reply ill check with garage see what they want
