I have this if you’re interested a brand new /unused Monza 200 kit (complete kit, latest spec) £340 Inc post.
Mixed opinions on this TS1 type kit... Cam lam sell these for £495...lots of potential for further tuning.
Bought for a project that is never going to happen.

Hmm, this is all food for thought. I really didn't think my ideas on speed were that unrealistic? Maybe I have been spoiled with a T5. :S

If only TS1 kits were available again, decent price and good performce.

To be honest most of us are probably guilty of over egging our top speed and what we can sit comfortably at... :D A true 80mph scooter is a very fast scooter no matter what way you cut it. I think its also quite possible to acheive what you want from a tuned 200 but you will be introducing lots of variables such as quality of tune & port and so on. a kit whilst more exspensive should in theory give you a specific power output top speed etc, if you set it up as per the instructions.
You can then should you wish start f***ing about with it to either your hearts content or your money runs out.

I think you would be better saying what your max budget is and what parts you already have for the engine and working backwards from there. If you only have £300 then the talk of kits pretty much goes out the window.

So how much do you have...? ;)

I have a clasiic rapido 225 and that will not do 80...i'm running a 30mm PHBH carb, 48mm clubman, GP 200 g/box and i'm happy when it touches 70 (GPS), which is very rarely. Cruising at 65 is probably 5mph too much.

Just building my Avanti...then hopefully those speeds (65 and 80) will be achieved.
