Please correct me if I am wrong but I was under the impression that the Avanti Kit was fitted to a machine that already had a clapped out clutch which is in the process of being repaired or have I missed something? ;)

You are of course 100% correct Ron, it was struggling with the stage 4 and the extra power of your avanti really was the straw that broke the camels back, Shame on you corrado

I've just supplied a couple of clutches for Avantis based on deeper crownwheels & spiders with 5 thin plates and 4 std steels.
I'll probably use an LTH 7 plate or an AF Surflex 6 plate in my own builds. Only because I've got a few of them and people won't pay £400 for a clutch.

This is not supposed to be inflammatory but had a good look at the Avanti TT3 kit yesterday in Allstyles. Not seen one before in the flesh and i was surprised (to put it lightly) at the finish on the exhaust port. If I had the £500 to get one I would have liked to have seen something finished a bit better. Stevie Wonder with a jackhammer springs to mind.
