that would help with the increased wheelbase, but I think it ruins the lines and proportions of the scooters when the bike engined versions, have the engine shoved right back out the bodywork
heavy is good, heavy is reliable, and if it does fail, hit them with it!!!
well there was that black gp in scootering a good while ago that had the motor pushed back a few inches ..it actually looked very good

I had a GP with carbon body work, the engage was over 30hp and a bit of a hand full under hard exceleration, the engine mount tube and the shocker pin got moved back 6 inch. The area around the number plate was cut out and a strip of metal about 3 inch added on then the piece that was cut out was welded back in-place. The handling was improved no end, not just when excelerating it just felt better to ride. You couldn't notice at first that the wheel base was longer. (full bodied) the air filter sticking out the middle of the side panel was a bit of a giveaway though.
That was this one Rickspeed.

if you lengthen the wheelbase you will slow the turn in. It then begins not to feel like a scooter. you get more stability for certain. But the bike can feel lethargic if that is the right word. Not fun to ride if you like corners. You also are moving an already rear weight bias machine further into that zone. Dont think is necessary tbh.
