you dont say what af clutch you are using if it has a gp type centre or the new cassette type it will not work with a sx / li type case

I bought the gp style one ...

So I have to replace The whole side casing? Or just the clutch actuating arm?

as the sx type clutch center has a pin and thimble fitting the gp type will then place it to far away from the pawl in the side case ,a gp side case has a bronze pad that fitts into a casting which is not present on the sx/li type so yes you do need a gp side case
