Hello. I am running a ts1 with a 34 delorto. Can any body tell me what the advantages are of cutting a hole into the side panel?

It allows you to get a clean air flow into the carb. Im presuming that having a ts and 34 carb you like to give it some, if you do then this helps apparantley...Norris1977 wrote:Hello. a hole in your panel not only lets more air in and more efficiently but its the fact thats its also colder or at least cooler air than would otherwise be aspirated from under your panels or through a filter or both ..

Alternatively, knock a bulge in your panel where the carb is for a bit more clearance, and drill a few holes towards the front of the panel to let air in.
