Right, i'll check the clutch sprocket after i get back from camber, thanks fellas :)
Then if it's found to be 22 i'll get it changed and try that.

21 tooth should be ok though with that pipe .
If you like constantly working back and forth between 3rd and 4th gear , yes, it will be fine with a 21 tooth and a PM. Being less than 10 stone and riding only with the wind behind you will also help. ;)

get rid of the pm got a scorpian om my reedvalved 172 and with the pm was pulling 15.5 hp put scorpian on and just over 18 thats with a 20 tooth clutch as had a 21 on with the pm and it was rather poo might retry it now as think 4th would pull it well now

my T5 Polini 152, machined head, 21 clutch, 26mm carb, augusto 7000 had a sterling pipe and did the same, fading out at top but on long runs it'd eventually wake up and hit 70 usually just before a roundabout or a junction!. Today I put a scorpion on and will do a long journey later in the week so I'll test it then, but around town today it really turns it into a loud revvy little bitch!

It's been a while and i'd almost forgotten but, i changed the rings and ran it for a while before giving it some proper stick, managed to hit 68 on the gps which i suppose isn't too bad, but that was revving the nuts off it. :D

My T5 ran a malossi 172 standard up jetted carb 21 tooth cosa clutch and a PM pipe, it went like the clappers.

With the setup you have you should be getting well over 70MPH.
something is wrong with the set up. Clutch would be my first stop.
