took scoot out today and did around 75-85 miles at all speeds and conditions (town and dual carrigeway), i even held it for 10-12 miles at 85mph and i found this clutch as good as i hoped it would be , its as easy to pull in as a std and can cope with as much grief as you can give it.
i am amazed by the ease of how it handles all thats thrown at it.
thanks lee
roll on ireland as the final test

heres my new "normal power" clutch (cr2) which is aimed at standard to mildly tuned bikes , it currently being fitted to my 24 bhp engine so we will see what happens ! , i think pricewise you will be looking at around £150 , as for by 6 plate full power (cr1) im currently sorting the first ones out

Lee,
would they work with a standard Li type plunger / chaincase set -up.

quick update i pulled my motor today to change the drive side oil seal and thought i would check the clutch out while i was in the motor, i am pleased to say there was no wear at all after a very hard 600 miles on final finished unit

roch68's clutch after 600 miles with no wear by mark & anne's photos, on Flickr
on a by note the readspeed 6 plate i was running needed changing after 500 miles as it was worn out , saying that jerome did say that its not designed for a 40bhp motor so i was happy to change as and when i needed to.

hi corrado , after several problems with supply / home etc im finally back up and running , there are some new design features which include an all new cast aluminium basket currently being made to my design , a new lazer cutter is also in place as the last one proved to be slightly unreliable !corrado wrote:Any updates on these?
as for the five plates , i have a few now in tuned bikes with no issues that im aware of and the 6 plates in the dac lambrettas , so fingers crossed everything now will start progressing !!!
cheers lee
