p200 floor runners

can someone advise please
fitting some new runners to p2, the kit comes with these rivets,never done vespa,s before,is there a special tool to fix rivets or a hamer job

i never use the supplied rivets as they are a pain if and when you want them off. Use small ss nuts and bolts/screws with a flat head. I then drill the plastic end caps.

Get the hammer out...you know u want to....

the rivet the kit comes with are the wrong ones, piaggio use pop rivets all from the top apart from the end caps which are from the bottom i use short 3mm on the runners the 4x10mm on all the end caps apart the two buy the legshield trim which are about
4x13mm hope this helps

its not a special tool as such just a normal pop rivet gun fitted with a longer "nozzle" so that it will sit in the runner,available from any tool warehouse
