I was in Camlam at lunchtime and noticed some anodised ally slit rims stacked on the counted, red, blue and plain ally. Exactly the same patern as the steel originals but a lot lighter. I was told they'd just arrived from Tino and they didn't have a price for them yet. Just seemed a bit odd given the shift towards tubless :wtf:

But what about those nice looking SiP rims
TS1 and PX stay in the garage (future barn finds) out on the GTS 300 when I go out on a scooter.
I know I’ll get there and back

There were rumours of a split rim for tubeless tyres. I understand that there was to be an O ring to seal the two halves.coaster wrote:...... noticed some anodised ally slit rims stacked on the counted, red, blue and plain ally. I have no idea if the rims you saw were of this type, but I see no reason to stop my great tradition of idle spectulation.
Did you notice a bead inside the rim for tubeless fitting?
