removing flywheel side bearing VBA

I split the cases on a 1959 VBA, and the flywheel side bearing didn't come out with the crank.
How do I remove the flywheel side bearing? I've got some of the factory bearing pullers, but I can't remove the flyside seal to push the puller through. All the online how to's have this bearing coming out with the crank.
what's the trick with out destroying the bearing?

Lots of heat on the case and it should drop out. I would put new bearing in anyway
