Re: TV top end on LI150 casing
Thanks for the fast replies It has got the longer TV conrod and I am pretty sure from what you guys have described that it will be the TV175 barrel bored out to 200. Is there a Japanese/Wiseco piston that will fit this set up? A previous engine I had used a TS185 piston but that was with a SR 185 ba...

TV top end on LI150 casing
Bought a freshly rebuilt engine off a guy a while back and have just got round to jetting the carb and the piston has destroyed itself. I need to now find a new piston and rings but I don't know for sure what the piston is. The casings are definetely LI , that I know. He said it was a TV top end, so...

What manifold should I get for a Mikuni TM24....????
I've got a series 1 framebreather with S3 Li150 engine and TV200 top end and I'm currently using a Jetex 22mm carb. Not happy with the Jetex so want to change it out for a Mikuni TM24 that I have sitting around but I need to know what manifold to get. I tried sending an email to MBD but haven't been...

R1 shock on a Series 1
I'm sure I can remember reading somewhere that a R1 shock needs spacers to fit a S1 or S2.
I tried searching but came up with nothing.
Could anyone tell me some sizes of packers I need?
Many thanks

Re: How do I get tank back in frame??
Innocenti-71 Thanks for the link to the e-bay auction, I'll keep my eye on it and hopefully it wont end up going for crazy money. I've just realised that scooterrestorations has got the S1 type for just under 17 pounds so I might just end up getting one from them. Dryballs, I'm in ChCh. Are you the ...

Re: How do I get tank back in frame??
Innocenti-71, Thank you so much for all the photos. I guess the hunt for a series 1 grille starts now. I dont like my chances of finding one for a reasonable price though....... I noticed that Casa USA list the S1 & S2 grilles seperately but give them both the same innocenti part #, your measure...

Re: How do I get tank back in frame??
Thank you so much for all those pictures mate, I can see exactly what the problem is now. The flat part of my battery tray is still in place. I thought it looked like it should come off when i yanked on it so I thought it was welded on. I got the frame powdercoated so the flat part of the battery tr...

Re: How do I get tank back in frame??
Thanks for the info but unfortunately still no luck...... I couldn't even get the tank past the outside of the frame when i tilted it 20 degrees back. I can get the tank right through the frame when the fuel mouth is pointing directly to the back of the bike but any other angle and it hits on the fr...

Re: How do I get tank back in frame??
There are no rubbers in there yet, I have removed the fuel tap and the fuel cap is off.
No matter what way I do it it either hits on the battery tray or on the top of the frame.
What the hell am I doing wrong??
