Before shimming the gearbox you should install the rear drum and tighten it. By that you make sure the layshaft is in correct place. I'm not 100% sure but think that the kickstart spring can be used as gear selector spring. It's stiffer so the gearchange mechanism is a bit harder but it may help wit...

Basic rebuild of PX200 is so easy that you could do it in the dark while being drunk. Symptoms suggest that the cush drive springs might be broken, drilling the rivets out and assembling new ones can be pain in the arse.

The part most likely the fail is CDI. I know several high mileage Rallyes with Femsa set-up that work brilliantly, but on the other hand have first hand experience with repro-femsas that lasted about 20 minutes. I suggest that you just bolt on what you have and see if it works as the whole system se...

The geometry of PX/Pk style fork is much better than in Sprint / Rally. Assuming that both forks are in good condition and have quality suspension parts the scooter with former will handle better.

With PX fork the front end will sit too high, PKXL2 is the way to go.
