Re: DR 180 Kit. Exhaust Dilema
Must admit very impressed with the DR kit, easy bolt on and quick upjetting has worked fine for me too. Now with the SIP its even better. I had the thrash my Vespa with the Simonini on but now its not necessary. I'll have a look for this 22 tooth clutch cog then and see what I can do with it. Thanks...

Re: DR 180 Kit. Exhaust Dilema
Bought the Sip Road 2 today and fitted it with no problem. Took a few kicks to get it started but when she did what a difference the Sip makes, minor adjustment to tickover but appart from that off I trundled and well impressed. Smooth acceleration through all the gears plenty of power not too bothe...

DR 180 Kit. Exhaust Dilema
Well i've had a DR 180 kit on for past year with 102 jet and Simoni exhaust on my Px 125 (01 plate). Has given a good increase in performance and no running in problems. Liking the extra power for pulling away and top end is respectable/acceptable. It's been a pleasure to ride until last Wednesday w...

Re: 180 Kits. Pinasco or DR?
I've not long put a DR kit on my PX125, 116 jet at present with a Simonini exhaust, easy to install and goes like s**t of chrome shovel and not even trying to push her while running in. Starts and runs like a dream. Fingers crossed it will do me ok for a few years yet. Keeping old 125 cylinder just ...

Re: Dr180 Kit
Its the rubber mount that has separated from the metal plate. My fault apparently for lifting the scoot up and moving it around. Got new mount, will wak it on tomorrow. Pain in ass though having to remove fuel tank to get at that top bolt. And I bet it won't come under easily either. Mechanic at Sco...

Re: Dr180 Kit
Couldn't wait so I've been out and got my self a nice Simonini Exhaust put her on and by george she's alive. Like riding a completely different scoot. Pulls up the hills a treat. And flies along the flats. Well pleased. Only problem no is my rear shock seems to have gone belly up. the top mounting i...

Re: Dr180 Kit
Drilled the filter out today and what a difference. Nice a responsive to the throttle and idles nicely. Climbs them hills in 3rd no problem even in 4th on the smaller ones which it never did before. Seem to want to go for it on the flat but holding back at mo as running it in. Spark is nice a chocol...

Re: Dr180 Kit
Right then got the 116 in now with the standard exhaust and filter. Starts fine runs ok but is lacking any umph. Revs quite nicely, no hesitation on the throttle. So would modifying the airfilter help with its performance. All i'm after is more umph to get me up the hills. Still trying to decide on ...

Re: Dr180 Kit
Right then best get a bigger jet. I've been advised to get a 115 to start with and after running in go down to a 110. Had no idea that could happen, thank God I ain't gone out on the road with it yet. Could have been a bit serious. Thanks. So would a 115 be suitable for say a SIP Road2 exhaust in fu...
