Has anyone used a Scootrs S2 winter-model type mudguard? What they like? I think they're made of 2 parts.
thanks

Re: frame BLASTED!!!
Serioulsy though, what is going on INSIDE those 40-50 yo frames? Surely it's not just the Indian Lamby's that suffer rust in the frame? Any one had a peek inside?

Re: Rear hub don't fit
Thanks heaps for the replies guys. For the record, the items are Casa stock. The rear hub is stamped Innocenti and FIF, and I'm led to believe these are GP type. The shoes are unmarked, but I assume there also GP type. As for filing the shoes, I thought this was a precision job to ensure and even co...

Have measured the rear hub circumfirence and compared it to the original hub -both 15cm across. So, what's the process for shaving the pads d...

Series 1,2 fork spring bush
Hi, Refurbishing a pair of series 1 forks, the ones with the metal top hat. Question is, the original Innocenti parts guide shows a part # 64 (bush for guide ring). My forks, and 2 other spares that I've checked only have the top hats, and the springs fit snugly into those, but no bush. Am I missing...

Ok, how exactly do I remove a series1 steering lock? Assume it's like the instructions for a series 3 removal ,but nothing's happening.]

Hope you don't mind me hijacking this forum; Minotaur, what jetting are you using. Have the same carb and casa kit, and finally some time to put it all together. Think I'll use a Gp air box.

Gearbox shim/tolerances
Assembling a gearbox on the series 1 for the first time. I'm following both sausages DVD and Sticky's book. The book says to leave the gear selector in 2nd gear while assembling. Sausage seems to leave his in first. Problem is, when i leave it in first, there's no movement in first or on the shim. L...
