Reading more into it it says dimension is from top of legshield and the recess in the bodywork above the toolbox aperture, (under the seat nose with the toolbox door open )

Right mate, by coincidence I got an original workshop manual amongst a few bits I bought which has a dimension that could be what you need. It shows arrow from what looks like the bottom of the headset under ignition /cut out and going to the top of the toolbox door with a size of 17" for the L...

Old Indian GP150 casing. They've obviously re-used some old short engine mounts. You are looking for the 90 mm gasket face.
