Hi all.

Hoping for some help. I seem to recall that there is a set measurement for the distance between the bottom headset of a Lammie and a certain point on the toolbox. Does anyone know what it is for a S1?

Rode into the back of a car while in Germany  . I know the mudguard and leggies will need sorting. Luckily, a front rack protected the horncast but am worried that the forks and fork stem may have been bent. She rode back OK, but I thought I'd better check before stripping her completely and sending the frame off. I'll be dropping the forks anyway and comparing them to another set a mate has, this is just an additional precaution.

Cheers in advance!

Right mate, by coincidence I got an original workshop manual amongst a few bits I bought which has a dimension that could be what you need.
It shows arrow from what looks like the bottom of the headset under ignition /cut out and going to the top of the toolbox door with a size of 17" for the Li and 17" 1/8 for the GP.
Hope this helps

Reading more into it it says dimension is from top of legshield and the recess in the bodywork above the toolbox aperture, (under the seat nose with the toolbox door open )
