Finally got back in the garage after a bout of man flu :roll: . The fault was the stator was catching the flywheel :oops: I didnt find out until trying to bump start it a piece of black plastic flew out of the flywheel :o Once stroipped down the stator is fu**ed. some engines are a c**t to start when newly built, my 240 always is and its always hard to start if it hasn't run for a few weeks too. 1st Start up of Engine.
I have just started my engine after a full rebuild (1st one for me). A small block with a 200 alloy top end, The engine has been fully rebuilt with new bearings/crank etc. It was a right git to start though. Here is some pics The bottom pic seems to have more of the smaller holes. How Many Holes in S2 Sidepanels.
I have just stripped my series 2 LI side panels and was wondering how many holes there should be for the panel badges ( scooter didn't have any badges when purchased).
Also does the remade panel badges have pins a per original or threads and hwld on with nuts ???
