So are you saying you can just bolt a reed block on and expect an improvement without any mods to ports or piston?

So i finally got out on mine for its first proper run! Its a bit boggy on pulling away and when changing gear so probably a bit rich at the moment,but other than that very happy! Cheers! I've borrowed it off a mate as a stop gap,think i'll just get a new short finned indian one and be done with it! What about the huge gap with the af between the fins and cowling,doesn't that cause a cooling issue,i've read on here that the fins need to be as close to the cowl as possible for...

Yes in relation to eachother e.g using the woodruff key groove as a reference point,the arrow on the AF is far more advanced than the arrow on the indian (and the same with the pick up magnets) It almost looks to me as if the centre boss has been fitted incorrectly,eg a rivet out! Hi all, I need a new flywheel,currently using indian stator and long fin flywheel,my mate has lent me a lightened AF flywheel which when fitted,even with a smaller flywheel cowl still has about a 15mm gap between fins and cowl! will this cause cooling issues?
