make another timing mark directley opposite the one on the flywheel,, ie,, if timing mark is 12 oclock, make one at 6 oclock,,, re strobe and as if like magic you,ll see the new timing mark

is it a new crank? last couple of cranks (indian) i have fitted you could put the inner race on and off by hand,, is that your problem, the crank is spinning but the race isnt? also if you heat it up too much,, until its blue, you soften the metal and it will wear alarmingly fast

mate of mines seals kept going,, turns out his mag housing has been machined wrong and the hole aint in the middle, thus the bearing is off-set a bit ,,, does yours vibrate? his was undriveable,,

do not use lcgb,, use british lambretta archive loads cheaper only 7 quid and u dont have to deal with arseholes

the piston will destroy itself if u run it like that, guarantee that, i have done it, trust me, scrap the barrel, its pot luck if you get a decent one o those alloy sr copies, you better off getting your iron cylinder bored out to 175cc n do a bit of diy porting
