If it helps I'm just putting my Italian GP back together after a paint job and it needed two of us to fit the original rear mudguard. Like legshields, they tend to open up once removed.

It's not just Lambretta parts. Both of these gear selector covers are from the same shop. Both are for the same bike (Rally 180). One is a genuine Piaggio part, the other a cheap copy:

One is too small:

The other one is far too big:

"We'll give you a refund" doesn't solve the problem of not having one. They're both going back in the same box as the clutch that doesn't work.

100% agree.GTFOMWSC wrote:And then passing it on to the next guy hoping he cant be bothered to return it knowing full well that it don't fit
surprising then that the genuine Piaggio part does not fit?
I thought that it was time to try Ebay on a part that couldn't possibly be made wrong. Guess I was wrong.

Seller: classicspares2014
Dealer said classic quote upon complaint "Sold loads, no complaints". And then told me to open dispute.
Ebay doesn't help one when in dispute. Their help pages are built so you never reach one.

couple of year back at cleethorpes rally i was after a couple of new low tension coils to repair a couple of stators,, took my tester with me,, checked the coils on dealers stall and told him 3 out of the 5 he had were no good, readings too low,,, was told i only sell um i dont make um, and he put um back on sale,,,,,,
name and shame , yes or no?
if you do, dealer would call you a liar, and slagging match would ensue ,,if you dont, no bugger none the wiser,,,, just tell all your mates and never deal with the fat toss pot ever again
