Re: Vespa Douglas 42l2
I thought the throttle was made deliberately stiff in the headset to aid with handsignals and to act as as a cruise control and that's what my VBB does !!

Re: vbb front brake cable route help
I'm now using a pk shock and even when this was fitted it was still too high which made me want the mod the top mount .I didn't want a disc as I prefer the look and I like the feel of a well set up drum with decent pads and you can't fault the brakes on the scoot now. http://i271.photobucket.com/alb...

Re: vbb front brake cable route help
It was running 10" wheels but the standard vbb front end was too soft and wheel bottomed out up in mudguard on braking and the brakes were not a lot of cop, and to be fair it's not been straight forward as I got Harry Barlow to mod the original vbb stem to the px efl fork as he has a jig.. Plea...

Re: Scomadi radiator and fan issues
I'm no expert but it has always surprised me that the rads are fitted like this as surely radiators work best with air flowing through them rather than across them !..I know of guys running watercooled auto's in lambretta frames with the rads mounted underneath and on their backs :!: :!: ...and all ...

Re: Gilera Runner
Hi, There is a shortage of classic scooters to buy where I live, so I am looking at buying maybe a Gilera Runner. Don’t know a lot about them, apart from some scooter boys like them and they came in 2 and 4 stroke versions. It appears around here they were sold between 2001 and 2003 (looking at t...
